Support the Orange County Public Libraries System With County-Wide Leadership & Funds

Join us in creating Libraries of the Future
Do you wonder what our libraries in Orange County will look like in 10 to 20 years? Will people still use hard copies of books and magazines, or will they be museum-like displays?

The reality is, our libraries are already more than just book repositories. They’re active information hubs and important community centers where EVERYONE is welcome.

And as technology continues to empower us, it also isolates us. So libraries are increasingly becoming more important community resources for sharing, building relationships and cultivating our sense of community. After all, why do people go to coffee shops to work on their computers? For the same reason people go to their local public library.

Let’s dare to do more than dream about what our libraries can mean to our individual communities in Orange County. Let’s support the transformation of our Orange County Public Libraries into libraries of the future…today!

The Orange County Public Library Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on enhancing our Orange County public libraries today so they remain vibrant, viable and relevant community resources tomorrow.

To do this, the OCPL Foundation remains focused on activities that will expand the resources of OC Public Libraries today while generating support for the ongoing transformation into the libraries of tomorrow.

Funding for these activities comes from fund raising projects, donations from private individuals and businesses, and grants from public and private foundations.

Please Join Us in This Endeavor!
With your support, the Foundation will provide county-wide leadership and funds that will:

  • Build connections between communities and libraries
  • Enhance library and technology resources
  • Promote literacy and life long learning
  • Collaborate with organizations to help expand library programs
